Projects
The projects promoted by SPORTIS Living Lab are mainly oriented towards the use of wireless technologies, miniature sensors and other technologies like microencapsulation:

Microencapsulation: This technology produces microcapsules that can be attached to other materials to make them have special properties. The microcapsule is a microscopic capsule designed to release its content after breaking when subjected to various actions such as pressure, solvent or melting processes.

Miniature sensors: The development of this technology allows to pick up increasingly more information anywhere you want monitoring yourselfe by using miniaturized devices. This technology is key in projects where you want to keep track of items in space and time, and you want to register the various parameters.

Wireless technologies: These technological developments allow the transmission of information without the need of a cable between points to communicate, get information between parts that are separated.
Although some of these technologies exist previously, we intend to use the possibilities offered inter-firm collaboration, so as to apply these technologies quickly to different environments in which they have previously been used.
